Medication Management
& Treatment Planning
Medication management is an important part of what we do as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners—but it’s never a one-size-fits-all approach. Not every mental health concern requires medication, and together we’ll thoughtfully explore what makes the most sense for you based on your symptoms, history, preferences, and goals.
When medication is appropriate, we use evidence-based research and established clinical guidelines to ensure you’re receiving the safest and most effective options available. Finding the right medication can take time and careful adjustments, and we walk that process with you every step of the way. If helpful, genetic testing (such as GeneSight testing) can provide additional insight into how your body may respond to certain medications, helping reduce some of the trial-and-error.

Accurate diagnosis matters! Different conditions respond to different treatments, and using the wrong type of medication can sometimes worsen symptoms. Through a strong therapeutic relationship, ongoing monitoring, and thoughtful
adjustments, we work to restore balance and help you feel like yourself again! Your treatment plan will be personalized and collaborative. It may include your diagnosis, clear goals, medication or other interventions (if appropriate), and supportive self-care strategies. This roadmap helps guide decisions and gives us a meaningful way to measure your progress along the way.If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure about medication, or simply ready for support, we invite you to reach out. You don’t have to navigate this alone—we’re here to partner with you in your mental health journey.
Please note: We do not treat substance use disorders or see children under 8 years of age.
